All installations will be different depending on the size of boat and which particular configurations you chose.
The general system with 3 monitored inputs and one output and all the natural features works out at around £650 including installation, set up and VAT
A vey basic system just monitoring battery level would cost around £300
Installation is included in the price but many marinas have an outside contractor fee and so that figure will be added to any quotes. Normally between £10 and £15 per day.
Running costs
There are no contracts or up front charges just a "pay as you go" sim with a provider of your choice. You must be able to top it up and monitor credit levels remotely. Most people do it on line but you can top it up at cash machines and shops etc.
You can have a contract if you wish but as the system only sends and receives text messages, no contracts as yet seem to be economically viable. At around lOp a text it does not cost much to run pay as you go.
